A busy week in Korea and Sweden – Takeaways from different parts of the world
Back home after a long and exciting week from different parts of the world…
We started the week in Busan, Korea participating at the IWA World Water Congress with our partner in Korea, HBT. Aside from exhibiting and hosting many visitors in our booth, TaKaDu headed several sessions on the future of water network monitoring and smart networks. The sessions were well atteneded and generated positive feedback. The week’s finale was our participation in a Korea-Israel seminar in the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology – KAIST, where we had the honor to meet top Korean scientists and engineers and proudly represented the advanced Israeli technologies in the water space.
At the same time, in another part of the world, TaKaDu participated at the Water and Wastewater Fair in Guthenburg, Sweden, where it was represented by ABB, TaKaDu strategic business partner and investor. The synergy between ABB’s ‘Symphony Plus‘ and TaKaDu’s water network monitoring solution attracted many interested visitors.
Both events were very exciting – at the IWA event in Korea, global issues such as water management and smart water applications were discussed, while in the Water and Wastewater fair in Sweden, we had the opportunity to learn more about the local industry. The market is mainly dominated by relatively small water utilities, looking for solutions to help them manage their operations in a smart way. This is totally in line with the offering of ABB and TaKaDu, which together enable clients to monitor and control water networks in more efficient way. It seems that the entire world is busy looking for solutions for smarter management of this precious resource called water!
